After a busy or noisy day, a dog may find ordinary things harder.
They might bark more readily, struggle to settle, react to a familiar sound or have less patience around other dogs and people.
The final event may appear small, but it may have arrived after a whole day of listening, watching, responding and coping.
Behaviour later in the day often makes more sense when we consider everything that came before it.
